It is the one-year remembrance of the Late Alaafin, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi and his Queens have taken to their respective Instagram pages to mourn him.

According to the Premium Times, Alaafin Adeyemi, the third from the Alowodu Ruling House, died in the late hours of Friday, April 22nd at the Afe Babalola University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti.
He was 83 years old and the longest reigning Alaafin ever, having ruled for 52 years.
Marking his one-year remembrance, Olori Memunat took to her Instagram page to mourn him.
She stated that though she can never see or touch him, he is always in her heart.
Olori Memunat expressed gratitude to the late monarch for turning her into a noble being among others in the society.
She stated that she can’t appreciate God enough for blessing her with His existence in her life.
She noted how he played an important role in her life which can’t be overlooked.
Memunat praised him for touching the lives of people while on earth and prayed for his soul.
“Days will pass and turn into years, it’s exactly a year you left us ATANDA. I can not longer see you neither touch you but always feel you in my heart, I can never thank God enough for blessing me with your existence in my life. You played an important role in my life which can’t be overlooked….you turned me to a noble being among others and in society. Thanks for making me the proudest woman on Earth.
You had touched countless lives in your lifetime and even after your departure, I’m using this medium opportunity to implore Allah to put you at His right Hand and elevate Your station among those who are guided.

Olori Memunat Omowumi celebrates birthday in tears
Last year, Olori Memunat celebrated her birthday in tears following the demise of her husband.
She noted how her husband was more than a husband but a great icon in the Yoruba empire.
Olori Memunat revealed that if there was ever to be a reincarnation, she would automatically return as a member of Adeyemi’s family.
The Olori praised him for being a positive impact and for making her a noticeable want in society.
She wrote, “The world has lost a great icon!!? You’re more than a husband but a great icon in the Yoruba empire. I commiserate with the whole Yoruba kingdom for the loss of an unredeemable being. Your legacy will. live among us. If there would be a reincarnation I’m automatically ADEYEMI’S family.
