His full name is Oluwajimi Odukoya; there are no details about his birth date, but he is thought to be in his late 30s. Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, a popular cleric in Nigeria, is his father, and his mother, late Pastor Bimbo Odukoya, died in the popular Sosoliso plane crash in 2005.
Jimmy Odukoya has two female siblings from his late mother and two male siblings from his father’s 2010 marriage to Nomthi Odukoya.

When Jimmy moved to Oklahoma, he became involved in a local church called Transformation Church, formerly known as Greenwood Christian Center, which is led by Bishop Gary and Debbie McIntosh. He was in the youth church, speaking at conferences and assisting in the ministry’s growth and development. During his college years, he transitioned to becoming a key player in the active college ministry of the Transformation church known as B.I.O. (Bring It On).
Following his proving, he was appointed to oversee all Church operations and service coordination while also working as an assistant to the then-assistant pastor, Pastor Calvin Battle, who is now the pastor of Destiny Center.
