Anthony Joshua will receive a challenge from Jigan Babaoja, a well-known Nigerian actor and comedian, after Joshua defeats Jermaine Franklin in London on April 1, 2023.
The heavyweight champion was congratulated on his triumph by Jigan, whose real name is Abimbola Kazeem, who claimed it was a “natural thing” for him to do.

He subsequently issued a challenge, declaring his readiness to engage Joshua in an arena battle.
Jigan captioned his post with a photo of Anthony Joshua, “Congratulations on your win yesterday! It’s a normal thing for me I have had more than 100 winnings within the years and still counting !
Are you now ready to take a bold step to accept my challenge ? If you win I will end my boxing career Pick any place of your choice , London , USA , Dubai or shagamu your home town
If I loose make Nigerians break my second leg I remain the world champion Tag him if you are not scared.”
Since then, fans have responded to Jigan’s dare, with some applauding him for his audacity and others suggesting that he might not survive Joshua’s first hit.
