When country music star Blake Shelton leaned over to take a note from a young fan in the front row at one of his concerts, he learned something about the boy that shook him up.

“Think y’all are having a bad day? Put that in perspective right there, man,” Shelton said to his audience in a video of his interaction with the boy.

Sounds Like Nashville reports that Wyatt McKee and his mom, Harley McKee, were gifted the tickets to the concert by a kind stranger after the donor learned how much McKee loved Blake Shelton.

People reports that Wyatt has a condition called hypoplastic left heart syndrome, which results in the left part of his heart being underdeveloped.

Wyatt was brought up on stage and Shelton got on his knees to meet the boy an put his arm around him.

Shelton hunched over while he and Wyatt sang the first chorus of the song.

“The devil went down to Georgia but he didn’t stick around. This is God’s country,” the two sang together.

After a few minutes, the boy went back to his seat as the crowd cheered wildly.

“Y’all give a big hand for my friend Wyatt!” Shelton said.

McKee shared a video of her son’s encounter with Shelton on Facebook where it went viral. The video has been viewed more than 173,000 times.

“I don’t know if Blake Shelton will ever see this but I just want to let him know he is awesome and officially my favorite person he absolutely made Wyatt’s day thank you so much to him and everyone who stopped us to tell him how great he was on stage and told him they are praying for him! Definitely, a night to remember!” she wrote in the video’s caption.

“He just came home one day and just kept yelling to play ‘God’s Country,’ ‘God’s Country,’ and for a couple of years now, anytime we get in the car, we got to play God’s Country all the time,” she said.
