Career
Kareem Adepoju’s professional acting career began in 1963. Before joining the Oyin Adejobi Theatre Group, he trained for a year under Chief Oyin Adejobi, a Nigerian formal theatrical artist. For more than four decades, Baba Wande has portrayed a variety of notable roles on stage and in film.He also gained prominence as the focal point of the group’s epic compositions, such as “Ekuro Olaoja,” “Oba Igbalode,” and “Kuye.”
Baba Wande was shot into the limelight in 1993 after he starred as “Oloye Otun” in the movie titled Ti Oluwa Ni Ile.
