Afeez Oyetoro Biography
On August 20, 1963, Afeez Oyetoro (popularly known as Saka) was born to Pa Oyetoro in Adegbola town, Iseyin Local Government Area, Oyo State, Nigeria. He is a well-known Nigerian comedy actor, educator, master of ceremonies, model, stand-up comedian, television personality, and MTN ambassador.
Afeez Oyetoro Early Life and Education
Afeez comes from Iseyin town and spent his childhood there before moving to Lagos State, Nigeria’s economic powerhouse.
Saka, the sixth of his father’s eight children, attended Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife and the University of Ibadan, where he studied Theatre Arts and earned a Master’s degree in Theatre Arts with a focus on African Dance.
He is currently doing his doctorate at the Institute of African Studies, University of Ibadan, Ibadan.

Saka is well-known for his clown roles in Nollywood films and has been in a number of them, including The Campus, Tatus, Family Apart, The Wedding Party, and Ojukokoro. He is regarded as one of Nollywood’s funniest actors.
He is a senior lecturer in the department of Theatre Arts at Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education in Lagos State, and he is also pursuing a doctorate at the University of Ibadan (UI) in Oyo State. He appeared as the primary character in a 2013 MTN advertisement, declaring “I don port o.” after switching from Etisalat to MTN.
In December 2013, Saka revealed that he had turned down an appointment given to him by President Goodluck Jonathan to become one of Nigeria’s ministers sighting personal reasons.

In 2016, he appeared in popular Nollywood movie “The Wedding Party” alongside with Banky W, Adesua Etomi and RMD. He has also featured in the comedy-crime film “Ojukokoro” (Meaning Greed).
