Her official recognition has been massively celebrated online since the news broke. The young and smart lady was born in Seshsego, Limpopo. Her political group, the EFF indicated that, “she grew up with the dream of becoming a pilot and breaking the stereotypes against young African women.”

Her news came at the backdrop of the inspiring academic and career victory of Mark White, a brilliant African boy who equally aced his exams to achieve his dreams as a pilot. His life journey has been unorthodox. He left his job as an engineer to go after his childhood calling.

“I took a leap of faith in July and left my job as an engineer to pursue something I truly fell in love with over the years, flying. I have wanted this life for so long and it’s finally here. I am now licensed to fly the Embraer 145 for Piedmont Airlines and I could not be more excited for this new beginning.”
